Chiming In…..

If we as a society were smart and used difficult moments to learn our lessons and move ourselves forward, we could shift ourselves up, but we don’t usually do that. Painfully we continue to make the same mistakes over and over again. Albert Einstein had it right when he spoke about the impossibility of changing our circumstances unless we change the thinking that got us in trouble in the first place! I am so utterly sick and tired of hearing the main stream media pound certain stories into the ground for ratings or worse to agitate the masses and create unrest. It is wrong and it needs to stop.

I am speaking in reference to the shooting and killing of the Gorilla in the zoo that grabbed hold of a young child who climbed the fence and then fell into the enclosure. Here is my frustrated take on the whole encounter.  Why does our sick society still demand that we cruelly capture and hold captive in zoos, glorious wild animals, just so society can  stand and stare at them?  Have we not come any further in our evolution than this? Do we think so little of our animal brothers and sisters that we do nothing to stop this? Can we not see that those animals are US and we would die of broken hearts if captured and placed in cages for the rest of our lives? We have this chance RIGHT NOW to set this story right! WE as a society can stand up and demand that this cruel practice no longer be allowed. Will we make bold moves to say we are better than this?

Not if the main stream media has anything to say about it. They only choose to ask questions that will inflame the people and keep the stories going. We need to wake up to a great many things that need to be changed if we ourselves don’t want to end up like the animals in zoos. Society needs to gather up its attention and start to realize these problems exist because we allow them to exist! If society continues to remain silent and not push for change, change will never come. the choice is ours!

Blessings to all,

Putting It Out There….

I was reading a post on another blog today and it got me thinking. We are smack dab in the middle of the most turbulent planetary feat of all times, changing paradigms and we have no music to capture the memories of this journey in. We are truly the New Americana but we need stronger connection to get the process completed. Yes of course there are pockets of music for the different generations, but think back to the 60’s! That was when the last major planetary shift occurred and the music was not only across all age brackets it was UNIVERSAL!!! This is what we are lacking. Music reaches unfathomable depths within the human psyche , it lodges itself there and it piggy backs along with us throughout our journey in life. We hear it and it instantly brings forth recall of times that are monumental in one way or another. Like remembering where you were when 9-11 happened, or the magic of Woodstock. All life altering moments are well-preserved in our cellular memories. But what music do we have now that can hail such popularity to join together millions of hearts and minds again, regardless of all the limitations we place on ourselves?

These remarkable times call for remarkable music to capture souls and open hearts and minds. It has happened before and it can happen again! We were not so distracted in the 60’s. Maybe we should think about that. When was the last time a band grabbed the attention of the worldwide masses and ran with it? It has been a good long time since music spoke of the times and was listened to by all. I’m putting out to the universe that we need a good shot of music in our arms again. We need to wake up and rejoin the rhythm of life that pulses through our veins. We need another group such as the sixties offered us. We were connected on a very deep level then and we have lost that, but I don’t think we realize it. So creator, I pray you send to Earth a new rush of music to lift up hearts and minds and bring us all together on the same level once again.

Saint Anthony, Saint Anthony, please come to the ground, we have lost our connection and it needs to be found.

Blessings to us all,

I just wanted to share this video. This young gentleman who obviously is for Bernie Sanders made this video as an anthem for Bernie. It has gone viral and for good reason. Very well done and quite professional looking as well. Regardless of who we wish to vote for come November, talent of all kinds should be praised when it is deserved and this person has shared a great talent and his message in a positive way. Good for him!

Are We Learning?

I watch all the confusion going on in the world as well as towns and cities all across the country and I think  “Are we going to get things right this time?” This stage in our evolution is demanding a great deal from us, from every aspect of our being. It is like a lever has been switched on and people everywhere seem compelled right now to figure out who they really are and what kind of lives they are living. Something far greater than ourselves is calling us to service to get our own houses in order. We are but micro pieces in a macro puzzle we call life. What it seems we are finally finding out is that we all play a part in what is occurring, here, there and everywhere. The switch was flipped and we all began the earnest quest to complete ourselves for acceptance into the next level of whatever lays ahead.

But, that said, who or what are we fixing ourselves for? We need to be clear on this. Are we fixing ourselves so we better fit in with normality in todays world, or are we  fixing ourselves through compassion to become the best that we can be so we create a strong foundation for the new world unfolding? I know I don’t wish to fit in with today’s normality, for I see it as insanity. For a lifetime I have been trying to fit into a world where I felt I didn’t belong when all along the world in which I didn’t belong was struggling to belong in me. Whose to say there even is a world? We all perceive things differently, define things differently, there is no one right or wrong world. Rather than waste time and money on walls to separate ourselves why not spend that time and money on healing the minds in the world that create the division and hate so no walls will be needed in the future? We must not only be able to see what is wrong in the world, but be able to envision and create new ways to fix it.

What our bodies and minds are scrambling to uncover right now that is causing so much confusion, is not how do we to fix ourselves, but rather how can we become the best of who we can be just as we are? How can we create a life that is giving and open and loving and inspiring and enlightening to all those we encounter and be ourselves? How can we make our lives have meaning? How can we help those around us who need support and guidance in finding greater inner strength? That is where we are headed I believe. This sweeping change we are witnessing  is the innate drive within us all telling us it is now time to usher in the new paradigm. So many are confused because they don’t know who they are or who they wish to be and so they don’t know where to begin the process.

Begin by quietly sitting down and asking yourself questions and honestly answer them. What truly makes me happy inside? What is holding me back? What inspires me? What do I have to offer the world? Everybody has something! WHO ARE YOU?  Have you ever really asked yourself or given it much thought? If we can figure out what inspires us, what makes life have meaning for us, we at least know what direction to aim our boat in. If we pursue what brings us joy and meaning and pride, then we are being true to who we are meant to be, NOT who we are told to be. We must find the courage to stand up and do what we feel drawn to do. If it is what we are meant to do there will be little resistance versus if we try to force a false way of being upon ourselves, we fight an uphill battle. Right now there are glaring examples being mirrored back to us of what we are doing to our lives. Everything it seems is falling apart in the world, but that is necessary, to show us where we are going wrong, what needs changing and to make space for a new and better way of being to fill the void.

No change comes without discomfort, it just doesn’t.  That doesn’t mean we should fear change. Quite the opposite, we need to embrace it and flow with it like a dance as we whirl wildly through the universe. It is time to start releasing all of our old ways of thinking and believing we have lived by forever and free ourselves from restraint. Our lives  are far different and far deeper and far richer than we were ever led to believe, but believe we must. There is a new world that awaits and it is whatever we desire it to be.

Blessings to all,
