Kindness…

I find myself constantly trying to shut out the annoying noise going on in the world right now, especially here in America. Everyday things seem to ramp up and the vitriol is flying fast and furiously because of the presidential race. It is sickening to both watch and hear. These foolish and blind candidates think they are scoring points with their zinger comments that the greedy media love and are exploiting for ratings, but for most people I know, they are instead being driven further away by the ‘old’ paradigm tactics. They irritate, they are like a pebble in your shoe, they rub you the wrong way. For all those desiring to create a loving and compassionate world,  what these candidates are engaged in is exactly why so many are fleeing the insanity. Here we are in the 21st century and so many still haven’t grown beyond judgment  one iota. The main tactic I see being hurled about day after day yet again in this election process, is the irrational tactic of putting down your opponent to build yourself up. Really? Is that the best you can come up with?

Millions are tuned into what is going on minute by minute and this is disheartening. Everyday people are being drowned in negative double speak that eventually may well wear off on them. If that is all they see and hear 24/7, of course they will join in as well. Join the proverbial herd. I for one am sick to death of the negativity, the sick pleasure people are getting out of name calling and bashing and digging up dirt, the negative frequency that has the whole planet vibrating wildly and fighting against it. I think the majority of people are now wanting to create a new world  that is centered in compassion and kindness and caring. We are done with the brutality of the warring paradigm, it no longer fits who we are becoming inside where it counts. In fact it is quite offensive to who we are trying to become.

Kindness is such a gentle gesture. It has the ability to encompass and inspire a person’s heart and soul, it comforts and encourages and reaffirms.  The world is short on kindness right now. We need to make it a standard achievement we each try to attain everyday! Kindness has the ability to heal and the world needs healing desperately. Morality has been obliterated by television, young minds are being shown and encouraged to disregard morality, kindness and respect and they are becoming void of compassion. It is a very dangerous place we find ourselves in. These are the minds of the future that are being tampered with and they are being warped and twisted in ways that do not support the creation of a new and better world, but rather support the old paradigm of war, death and control. The youth is being hijacked  as a means of maintaining the status quo and disrupting the attempted creation of the new world.

It is not difficult to be kind, it just takes deciding to be that way.  We have a choice every morning when we throw our legs out of bed and face the new day. We can be conscious of our actions or we can hit auto pilot and repeat what we did yesterday, last month, last year. Nothing will change unless we make change within ourselves first. Start each day off in kindness and be gentle in how you approach life. Step back from the hostile world you are being shown day in and day out, that is not you ( I hope), so don’t go along with it. What you give out is what you get back in return. Would you not prefer kindness?  It is up to each of us to make ourselves become the best we can be and in doing so, slowly the new world begins to emerge with the dawn.

Which Path?

It feels to me like we are at that pivotal fork in the road, where society will either jump ahead to its new station in life or miss the train and have to start over again. It seems obvious what with everything that is going on right now, that change is definitely in progress. Life as we knew it in so many ways has changed and a new way of being or doing has slipped in and become the new normal. It feels like now is the time for humans to shed their fearful outer shells and finally take the risk of beginning a new way of being. We have outgrown our old human shells, there is no longer space within to turn around and see things from a new perspective. That is dangerous. We must always have the space and clarity in which to consider new and hopefully more advanced/informed perspectives, if we as a society wish to move up.

I believe what keeps so many people locked in their present moment of reality and afraid to do anything new, is the false worry they harbor that they may take the wrong road, make a mistake, ruin their lives or end up worse off than before. There are no wrong roads to take, therein lies the myth. Every path we choose is meant to be for the lessons we may need to learn on that journey in order to grow. We do not grow when we are not being challenged. Tough times suck in many ways, but they hold great gifts within them as well. Moments in time when we can redefine who we are and expand our boundaries. Moments that help us become more than we ever realized we could be. Yes tough times are fraught with pain and angst, but it is our challenge to find ways to capture the good from these dark moments so we can keep going and growing. Our bodies would not like to have to endure wearing shoes two sizes too small all day long, why would our souls wish to occupy a space that no longer allows it the freedom to expand so we can become more of who we truly are? That too can be very painful.

The United States is in for major change no matter what, in the very near future. It is unavoidable. President Obama’s Presidency is coming to a close (whew) so now we will be faced with someone new. Either someone who works WITH us to change the world or continues to hogtie us and try to halt our growth. I would like to say the choice is ours, but given the climate of cyber attacks that have invaded our Internet system, one can’t count on an honest election. Scary, but then again, is this not a good time to exercise our faith that all will turn out as it is meant to for whatever reasons? Faith. We are being asked to honor our faith, to believe and to know no matter what, we will make things turn out right. It is why we are here, it is why we have been struggling to awaken. We are at the pivot point, we must decide what kind of world we wish to live in, and we must create that reality by standing true to our beliefs.

Autumn is a time for sorting things through and winter is a time for sitting quietly and putting those things into acceptable order. If you are having a hard time accepting the truth of what is going on, that your true reality is not what you thought it really was, then that is where you quickly begin your mission. First you have to accept that things are very different from what you had believed they were. Once you can accept that, you can then move on to discovering what is in your true heart and soul that you value and you then choose to live by what you see and believe, not by what you are expected or told to see and believe. Do not fear going left or right in the road, go where your heart tells you to go,  there is no reason for doubt, everything is meant to be as it is. Believing and acting on your inner beliefs is what life is really all about. Stay strong and committed.

The Journey…!

I don’t know about anybody else right now, but my journey at least, has been one of epic proportions for quite some time now. Talk about digging deep. I should be at the center of the earth by now! My situation has been one of looking for my core issue to heal, but even more, it has been a battle of learning acceptance that has been so dramatic for me! There are things about myself I have looked away from for a very long time. Contemplating these parts of me and learning to accept these sides of me I have kept at bay, at the outskirts of my boundaries, has been heart wrenching and brutal at times. I feel like I am being stripped naked and there is no longer anything to hide behind. Like that age old saying ” You can run but you can’t hide”. There is no avoiding this process, each and every one of us needs to go through reconnecting with who we really are. We have allowed outside, worldly influences to become far more important in our lives than connecting with ourselves. Oh I know, we think we know who we are, but do we really? Some probably, but not the majority. We have been trained to stay away from the dark corners within. For a very long time we have been offered all kinds of materialistic goodies and distractions that supposedly make life easier and more enjoyable, yet we still felt empty. The further we fell into the trap of distraction, the further we became separated from ourselves.

I am learning all kinds of things that never entered my mind before and they have caused me to pause and contemplate and try to make sense of what I am unearthing. Only recently did I discover I had a huge issue with accepting all the many parts of who I am. Some of the parts I truly was shamed by, or disappointed by,  they were sadly unacceptable therefore I ignored them. These are not easy ideas to take in and chew on for a while. A good portion of my life has passed by already and only now do I see just half of me went through my life. The unaccepted parts hung on behind but were never embraced by me. Such a shame really, but I am glad I figured this out now and not let it continue on any longer. Now I have something concrete to work with. Learning how to love all of me, opening all the doors and windows in my heart to let in the once unacceptable parts of me and become one at long last.

There is so much petty distraction going on in the world right now, in order to do my inner searching I had to retreat. The haze of insanity continues to float heavily in the air around the world, very little makes sense any more and a great deal that does make sense is infuriating, so why stay connected to it all? I needed to reconnect with myself for now, not the world. In going along through my life, what became of those parts of me I discarded because they were not acceptable? Did those parts experience my life along with me and if not, what are those parts, what did they experience? Have you ever stopped to dig deep and ask yourself major questions such as these? Try it. Once you start asking and uncovering you begin to see you really didn’t know yourself as well as you thought. We are a highly distracted society and we need to come back down to earth and settle in.

If you too are on a journey to the center of your existence, you are not alone. I believe many out there are encountering this journey as well. As the paradigms shift so do we and we need to know who we are and what we need to make the change to the new paradigm as easy as possible. If we remain blind to our truths, if we are not accepting of who we are, how can we expect to move forward ? Where we are going is a space of higher consciousness and compassion and a caring for ALL not just some. It requires that our minds be open and our hearts as well, to be able to release our need to judge others as well as ourselves. Acceptance is where we must start our expedition and hopefully we will uncover not only our truth but our love.

Blessings to us all,
